I've heard it is possible to capture Khaak ships. Is it true?

Yes. You can capture Khaak ships if your combat rank is Ace of Aces 3rd or higher and you have brought the Khaak ship specifications (see the missions FAQ). You can also capture them at any combat rank without buying the specifications but this is a bug!
